Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a well-known Indian director, screenwriter, and editor who has worked in Hindi and Telugu films. In 2017, Vanga directed his first feature film, Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda, which became a commercial success, gaining him recognition. He built on his success with its remake, which starred Shahid Kapoor as the lead in the 2019 Hindi film Kabir Singh, which is one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga was born to Prabhakar Reddy and Sujatha in Warangal, Telangana. Pranay Reddy Vanga, his elder brother, produced the film Arjun Reddy. He attended Platinum Jubilee High School in Warangal until the eighth grade, when he moved to Hyderabad to continue his education from the ninth to the twelfth grades. He earned his bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from SDM College of Physiotherapy in Dharwad.
